Job Role : Head – Cloud & Platform Planning & Operations

Role Purpose:
The role will drive platform planning, deployment, and operations across all domains – Core, RAN, and Transport. This includes Cloud planning and deployment and managing 30+ critical applications hosted on the cloud.

Key Responsibilities:

• End-to-end ownership of Cloud Infrastructure planning, deployment & operations (OCP/OSP upgrades, 2000+ servers across 10 instances).
• Manage applications hosted on cloud platforms such as Groundhog, Ribbon, Mycom, Netcool, NIAM.
• Operations of Leaf, Spine, firewall, load balancer, and storage, ensuring compliance with Airtel security policies.
• Platform operations including adaptor development, application availability, redundancy planning, and lifecycle management.
• Manage Ribbon’s VoLTE analytics (192 DCE instances and 17 analytics clusters).
• NMS operations – handling 2L1 & L2 support, device ecosystem upgrades.
• Network insights – event correlation logic, OSS analytics, regulatory reporting, and observability enhancements.
• Drive team collaboration across regions, foster motivation, and nurture a high-performing culture.

• Knowledge of multi-technologies in multi-vendor, multi-system environments.

Required Qualifications & Experience:

B.E. in Electronics & Telecommunications.

Minimum 20+ years of experience in network operations, performance management, and governance across multi vendor and multi-technology networks.

Strong understanding of call flows across Transport, RAN, and Core.
