Job Role / Title: IT Asset Executive

Position Purpose:

We are seeking a candidate with 3 to 4 years of relevant experience in IT Asset Management within the IT industry. The incumbent will play a vital role in overseeing our IT asset operations.

Key Responsibilities:

Manage Day-to-day IT Asset Operations:

• Track asset IMAC requests, ensuring installations, allocations, movements, and changes are recorded.
• Monitor asset onboarding and exits, ensuring updates are made in the Configuration Management Database (CMDB).
• Maintain response and resolution metrics for Asset Management requirements.
• Update asset state in the database based on reference requests/incidents

Maintain and Track IT Asset Inventory Database:

• Keep a comprehensive inventory of all IT Hardware assets in the CMDB.
• Ensure accuracy and completeness of asset data by regularly updating defined attributes.
• Document purchase details (PO number, date, Invoice number, date, delivery date, etc.).

Qualifications and Experience Requirements:

Qualifications:

• Essential: Bachelor's degree in any field with 5-6 years of experience in IT Hardware Asset Management.

Experience:

• Essential: Familiarity with any industry-specific Asset Management Tool.

Skills

Technical & Functional:

• Working knowledge of CMDB.
• Proficient in Excel and presentation skills.

Behavioral:

Self-motivated with strong communication skills.
