Purpose of the Position (Job Summary)
This role is primarily responsible for:
· Carrying out all required activities to ensure systems and operations are functioning smoothly and efficiently, as
per defined timelines and cost parameters.
· Executing assigned tasks while maintaining high standards of quality and safety.

Skills/Capabilities Required:
· Instrumentation Manager are responsible for designing, developing, installing, managing and maintaining equipment which is used to monitor and control engineering systems, machinery and processes. your job is to make sure that these systems and processes operate effectively, efficiently and safely.
· To participate in technical discussions with vendors at pre-ordering and also subsequently with follow up to ensure the quality of ordered items as well as timely delivery. · Review the design basis for construction as per standard and good engineering practices.
· To prepare enquiry specification and BOM for various items, specially for direct procurement items
· To coordinate with Other Departments to support work permit system
· To provide detailed specifications for new item codes. · Coordinate with engineering contractor for completion for various requirements related to basic and detailed engineering.
· To organize pre-ordering review with erection contractors to prepare Technical Recommendation.
· To support Maintenance team on Instrumentation engineering areas for accurate selection of spares, equipments, machines & vendors.
· To provide Site team with Instrumentation Know How and guide them from time to time..
· To have a good commercial acumen ·
To ensure safety practices during erection and commissioning.
· To ensure quality during the installation of plant & equipment.
· To provide “Front” for various contractors to ensure best utilization of resources

Technical & Behavioral Skills & Knowledge
· B.E/B.Tech – Instrumentation with 10 to 15 years experience in continuous process industries like chemicals /
petrochemicals etc in Operation & maintenance each area.
· Exposure to similar chemical Plant Project would be an added advantage
· Should possess strong attention to detail and willingness to work through any issues that emerge
· Should possess excellent interpersonal skills, team management skills& leadership skills.
· Should be able to align and engage team through effective communication. Understands and communicates the
purpose and contribution of the function to the overall business strategy
· Should have capability to build & nurture teams.
· Operational knowledge of Computers including SAP.
· Should have exposure of necessary statutory compliance.
· Should have knowledge & exposure of Environment, Health & Safety requirements.
