Lead Electrical Maintenance - AGM/DGM

Purpose of the Position (Job Summary)

Ensure safe & reliable operations & maintenance of all electrical equipment & systems in Power Plant

Strategy

 Providing direction to the team to ensure working strategies are executed in a manner that is in alignment with the organizational strategic plan.

Financial

 Focus on cost optimization by yield improvements, energy conservation, productivity improvement & minimizing overtime

Customer/ External Orientation

 Collaborate with the internal/External stake-holders to achieve desired targets in Time.

Role Specific Skills/Capabilities Required:

 Ensure correct operations & implementation of electrical up keeping, preventive maintenance, conditional maintenance.

 Ensure preventive maintenance of all electrical equipment as per the plan.

 Handle breakdown maintenance of all electrical installations.

 Review and identify areas of improvement based on breakdown & shutdown to enhance plant availability and thus overall effectiveness.

 Respond to emergency situations as per the emergency response plan

 Ensure implementation of maintenance activities so that safety & environment systems & procedure are adhered to and safe & accident free workplace is maintained.

 Ensure availability of all critical spares.

 Ensure contribution in all projects of Quality, Environment and Energy Conservation for timely completion.

 Drive digital initiatives in the vertical for enhanced service delivery & efficiency

 Build capability of team members for enhancing their performance & growth

 Create structure & systems for data driven decision making

 Drive initiatives for improving safety culture

Technical & Behavioral Skills & Knowledge

 B.E/B.Tech – Electrical with 18 to 25 years experience in continuous process industries like power/chemicals /

petrochemicals/chlor alkali etc

 Should possess strong attention to detail and willingness to work through any issues that emerge

 Should possess excellent interpersonal skills, team management skills & leadership skills.

 Should be able to align and engage team through effective communication. Understands and communicates the

purpose and contribution of the function to the overall business strategy

 Should have capability to build & nurture teams.

 Operational knowledge of Computers including SAP.

 Should have exposure of necessary statutory compliance.

 Should have knowledge & exposure of Environment, Health & Safety requirements.
