Role Overview
We are looking for an experienced Area Sales Manager – Business Loans to drive sales growth, manage channel partners, and ensure portfolio quality for SME/Business Loan products. The role requires strong market understanding, team leadership capability, and proven experience in unsecured/secured business lending.
Key Responsibilities
Drive sales achievement for the Business Loan portfolio across the assigned geography.
Manage and motivate a team of Relationship Managers/Off-roll staff.
Develop channel network and strengthen business acquisition funnels.
Ensure adherence to credit policies and maintain high portfolio quality.
Conduct market mapping, competitor analysis, and new opportunity identification.
Manage end‑to‑end customer lifecycle from lead generation to disbursal.
Coordinate with Credit, Operations, Risk, and Collections teams for seamless execution.
Ensure compliance and documentation accuracy across all applications.
Requirements
12–15 years of experience in Business Loans (BL/SME/MSME).
Strong understanding of underwriting parameters and market trends.
Proven track record of team handling and achieving sales targets.
Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and negotiation skills.
