Job Title : Sales Manager Premium Acquisition-EXIM
Job Purpose:
A Sales Manager for EXIM (Export-Import) at Yes Bank is responsible for driving Retail Trade and Forex business growth in a designated region by maximizing customer acquisition and revenue from EXIM, Travel, and Tourism segments. Key duties include developing and executing strategic initiatives, collaborating with branch staff on joint customer visits and product structuring, identifying and addressing gaps in sales processes, and achieving revenue and customer base targets. This role requires strong product knowledge in trade finance, including LCs, bank guarantees, and various financing types, along with effective team and channel management to foster a strong sales culture.
Key Roles & Responsibilities:
Drive initiatives to grow Retail Trade and Forex business, with a focus on the EXIM, Travel, and Tourism segments, to maximize revenues and expand the customer base.
Implement product and process initiatives to increase customer acquisition and enhance wallet share within the region.
- Sales & Product Development:
Conduct joint scoping with branches to identify opportunities, structure product and pricing requirements, and support the development of new products and improvements.
Conduct joint customer visits with branch Relationship Managers (RMs) for product structuring and deepening relationships with existing and potential clients.
Earmark key focus branches for current account and trade forex business, monitor key accounts for growth, and audit the efficiency of sales processes in branches.
Handhold newly joined sales resources, provide support for product, process, and marketing queries, and drive cross-sell (B-B-C) opportunities.
Key Competencies & Knowledge
In-depth product and process knowledge in Trade Finance, including:
- Imports: Letters of Credit (LCs), Advance/Direct Remittances, Bills on Collections, Buyers/Suppliers Credits, Bank Guarantees/SBLCs.
- Exports: Pre-Shipment Finance, Post-Shipment Finance, Export LCs, Export Collections, Bank Guarantees.
- Inland Trade: Inland LCs, Bank Guarantees.
- Sales & Channel Management:
Ability to manage a sales team and channel partners to achieve business goals.
Skill in developing and implementing strategies to achieve revenue and customer growth.
- Collaboration & Communication:
Strong ability to collaborate with branch RMs and other internal stakeholders.
