Shift Incharge (Executive ALCP)

Job Summary:

The candidate will support the operation of reactor and chlorine, dislodging of material, knowledge of material handling system and packing specs with good practice of safety, Planning of contractual manpower with job detailing, knowledge of prepare SOP, SAP, Daily planning of Production, maintenance & packing. Knowledge

of quality-based production and achieve the target with safe environment.

Key Responsibilities

1 Strive to achieve budgeted Anhydrous AlCl3 production for the financial year.

2 Responsible for normal operation of all existing 6 areas in AAC plant. The reas are Reactor, Packing, Scrubber, Chlorine tonner, Storage tankfarm and Utilities.

3 Ensure continuous monitoring and control of all relevant parameters (Pressure, temperature, flow, level & concentration) in individual area.

4 Ensure and monitor routine activities of production officers deputed for individual area.

5 Planning, executing and monitoring of critical maintenance jobs like Vapour line cleaning, reactor ash cleaning, Chlorine tube replacement, etc.

6 Routine shift activities also includes the following jobs,

1) Physical stock verification of raw materials, consumables & finished goods

2) Troubleshooting of plant abnormalities

3) Issuance of work permit & jobs follow-up for completion.

7 Developing process documentation like SOP, SAP, checklist for reactor startup

& shutdown, plant abnormal shutdown procedure, etc.

8 Develop best practices, routines and innovative solutions to maintain

efficiency, improve sustainability & reduce production cost.

9 Recording shift activities in SIC log book & handing over of shift activities to reliever with adequate information for taking over of shift.

10 Monitoring & maintaining housekeeping of AAC plant especially reactor area & packing area.

11 Observing & reporting of safety violations in order to insist following of safe procedures like wearing PPE`s, follow work permit system, etc.

2.Educational Qualification:

 Graduate in Engineering(Chemical).

 Diploma chemical/Graduation.

3.Experience Required:

 5-6 years of relevant experience in Aluminium chloride plant handling/Cl2

handling experience.
