Purpose of the Position (Job Summary)
This role is primarily responsible for handling range of task related to Non-SAP Business Applications, Digitalization projects, Servers, IT Storage Infra, Backup, Cloud Infra, Disaster Recovery & IT Assets & IT Helpdesk Operation including new implementation, tech support, user training, troubleshooting etc.

Strategy
Responsible to Implementation of Digitization/IoT/Automation projects in various business functions.
Responsible for Administration of site IT infrastructure such as Server, Storage, Backup, Cloud, IT Assets, Backup & Other Applications.
Responsible for IT Asset Administration.
Responsible for overseeing IT Helpdesk Operation.
Responsible for Software license tracking and Administration, ensuring compliance
Financial
Track and manage IT budgets related to Applications, Digitization projects, Server, Storage.
IT Invoices & Payment processing.
Customer/ External Orientation
Develop relationship with Vendors to drive timely delivery on Projects and support assignments.
Coordinating with application owners, Site instrumentation team, local vendor, Site & corporate IT teams
Role Specific Skills/Capabilities Required:
Servers, Storage, Applications, Backup, Restoration operations - cloud & on premise.
Plan and oversee the installation and maintenance of Applications, Servers, Backup solutions.
Multi cloud operations- AWS, OCI and Azure.
AI/Machine learning, Robotics. Analytical/BI tools- Python, Power BI, Qlikview
Work closely with managed service partner for management of core business application infrastructure.
Routine Data backup, Patch management and DR operations.
Develop and implement policies related to IT security, disaster recovery, IT infrastructure & Applications.
IT Hardware and Software Assets Administration.
Establish a security policy to protect company information and resources
Prepare Reports and ensure optimal performance to meet service level agreements.
Work closely with team/service provider to check and ensure resolution of all issues on time.
Review the existing issues raised by the vendors/users and propose changes to permanently fix the recurring issue within defined SLA.
Responsible for creation of Standard Operating Procedures and other documentation.
Manage user access reviews, implementation of security guidelines for applications, participate in internal/external data/process audits.
Good Communication Skills required in order to follow-up effectively with cross- functional teams.
Ability to work independently, multi-task, and take ownership of various parts of a project or initiative.
Strong consulting and stakeholder management skills and the ability to build and foster internal relationships.
Coordinate with external vendors and internal teams to roll out projects.
Operate with significant autonomy to deliver results for the team and broader organization. Effectively communicate product releases to stakeholders.
Should be able to prepare reports /MIS for the senior Management team

Technical & Behavioral Skills & Knowledge
BE (Computers/IT), with 10+ years’ experience in IT environment of continuous process manufacturing companies.
Experience in driving multiple Automation Projects for Manufacturing Plants including Digital Manufacturing using technologies like IoT, Cloud and Mobility
Experience in managing IT infrastructure & Applications for multiple locations, plants and offices
