Job Description: Renewable Power Management Manager
Position Overview
The Renewable Power Manager will responsible for planning, development, operation and
execution of renewable energy projects (solar and wind ). This role involves overseeing the
operation, managing power generation from renewable sources, project execution, ensuring
compliance with environmental and regulatory standards, optimizing energy output, driving
sustainability initiatives and implementing strategies for energy storage and distribution. The
manager will coordinate with the government agencies for regulatory approvals and compliance.
Key Responsibilities
Project Development & Management
o Lead feasibility studies, site assessments, and resource evaluations for renewable energy projects.
o Oversee project timelines, budgets, and deliverables from concept to commissioning.
o Coordinate with engineering, procurement, and construction (EPC) teams.
Operations & Performance
o Monitor and optimize energy generation efficiency across renewable assets.
o Implement predictive maintenance and performance improvement strategies.
o Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and quality standards.
Government Liaisoning
o Build and maintain strong relationships with government agencies and regulators.
o Ensure projects comply with national and local ( Gujarat ) renewable energy regulations.
Energy Planning and Optimization
o Develop strategies for load forecasting, scheduling and dispatch of Power.
o Prepare reports and presentations.
o Optimize energy generation and storage to meet demand and minimize curtailment.
Data Analysis & Reporting
o Analyse performance data to identify trends and improvement opportunities.
o Prepare Monthly and Yearly reports on generation, efficiency and cost saving.
o Identify opportunities for expansion, innovation, and cost reduction.
o Stay updated on industry trends, policies, and emerging technologies.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering.
13 to 15 years of experience in renewable energy project management or power generation.
Strong knowledge of solar, wind technologies.
Familiarity with regulatory frameworks, grid integration, and energy markets.
Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
