Application Manager (Wealth Spectrum Specialist)

Role Overview:

As a Lead Application Manager, you will serve as the key owner and SME for a suite of core financial applications, ensuring seamless functionality, stability, and enhancement across all platforms. You’ll work closely with business stakeholders, technology teams, and vendors to ensure systems are aligned with organizational objectives and industry regulations.

Roles and Responsibilities:

•                    Serve as the primary point of contact for all application-related issues, enhancements, and troubleshooting for PMS, AIF, Wealth Management, and Mutual Fund platforms.

•                    Lead end-to-end system implementation projects, including gathering requirements, coordinating with vendors and internal IT teams, managing UAT, and ensuring seamless integration into the existing infrastructure.

•                    Provide day-to-day support for critical applications such as Wealth Spectrum, MFund applications, and custom-built in-house systems, ensuring minimal disruption to business operations across PMS, AIF, Wealth, and Mutual Funds.

•                    Build and automate customized reports using VBA, Excel Macros, and SQL to support business users and stakeholders.

•                    Manage incident resolution by identifying and addressing root causes, implementing preventative measures, and ensuring timely communication with affected teams.

•                    Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Operations, Risk, Compliance, and Fund Management, to ensure applications align with business objectives and regulatory requirements across PMS, AIF, Wealth, and Mutual Funds.

•                    Conduct system upgrades, version control, and ensure regular patches and maintenance for all relevant applications.

•                    Develop and maintain user manuals, documentation, and provide training for end-users to ensure effective utilization of systems.

•                    Manage Change Requests (CR) by tracking timelines, ensuring proper documentation, and liaising with stakeholders using tools like Jira and Project Insight.

•                    Support the integration of Data Warehousing and Master Data Management systems to enhance reporting and data consistency across teams.

•                    Coordination with respective team and ensuring BCP and DR setup for respective applications are up and running. Ensuring drills are conducted as per defined schedules.

•                    Ensuring VAPT observations across applications are closed on timely basis.

•                    Supporting various Audits throughout the Financial year and providing evidence as required by auditors. Also, Closing all the audit observation on timely basis.

Requirements:

•                    10+ years of experience in application support, systems integration, and IT project management, preferably in BFSI/wealth management domains.

•                    Strong hands-on experience with financial platforms such as Wealth Spectrum, MFund, or similar applications.

•                    Proficiency in VBA, Excel Macros, and SQL for reporting and automation.

•                    Experience working with incident management systems and change management tools like Jira, Project Insight.

•                    Solid understanding of fund structures (PMS, AIF, MF), industry workflows, and regulatory compliance in financial services.

•                    Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional projects and collaborate effectively with internal stakeholders and external vendors.

•                    Excellent problem-solving, communication, and documentation skills.
