Level: Sr. Manager

Location: Hardoi District

Ø To advise the departmental heads, supervisors and other such officers in planning and organizing measures necessary for the effective control of personal injuries;

Ø To advise on safety aspects in all job studies, and to carry out detailed job safety studies of selected jobs;

Ø To check and evaluate the effectiveness of the action taken or proposed to be taken to prevent personal injuries;

Ø To advise the personnel of store purchase department in ensuring high quality and availability of personal protective equipments etc;

Ø To advise on matters relating to carrying out plant safety inspections.

Ø To carry out plant safety inspections in order to observe the physical conditions of work and the work practices and procedures followed by the workers and to render advice on measures to be adopted for reducing the unsafe physical conditions and preventing unsafe actions by workers;

Ø To render advice on matters relating to reporting and investigation of industrial accidents and diseases;

Ø To investigate fatal and serious accidents and to suggest remedial measures to the management;

Ø To investigate the cases of industrial disease contracted and dangerous occurrences reportable under Rules 110 and 112 of the Uttar Pradesh Factories Rules, 1950;

Ø To advise on the maintenance of such records as are necessary relating to accidents; dangerous occurrences and industrial diseases;

Ø To promote setting up of safety committees and to act as an adviser and catalyst to such committees;

Ø To organise in association with the concerned department, campaign, competitions, contests and other activities which will develop and maintain the interest of the workers in establishing and maintaining safety conditions or work and procedure;

Ø To design and conduct either independently or in collaboration with the organisations, departments imparting industrial safety training, suitable training and educational

programme for the prevention of personal injuries and to hold safety seminars to least once in a year;

Ø To prepare annual report of accidents and industrial diseases suggesting their remedial measures and to put it up before the annual meeting of the Board of Directors.

Ø Organize and manage the unit EHS program.

Ø Set EHS objective and targets with the Central EHS Committee

Ø Ensure that the workplace is safe and advise complies with the statutory requirements as applicable

Ø Ensure presence in the central EHS Committee

Ø To inspect all activity of factory premises

Ø To carry out full inspection as scheduled is section wise

Ø To carry out internal safety audit as scheduled with representative from environmental, occupational health and security department.

Ø Investigate all incident including near miss& first aid injury with corrective action

Ø Maintain accidents/ incidents record

Ø Make annual safety report every financial year

Ø Make the monthly summery of all incident (Reportable accidents/ non-reportable accident/ first aid injury/ property damage incidents/ fire incident/ near miss incidents)

Ø Liaison with CPCP/UPPCB

Ø Operate & maintain ETP/STP

Ø Organized and Coordinate EHS training program with external and internal faculty.
