Purpose of the Position (Job Summary)
Ensure that all maintenance activities comply with safety regulations and best practices. Implement safety
protocols and procedures to protect personnel and the environment from potential hazards associated with
mechanical maintenance work.
Provide training and mentorship to your maintenance team members, ensuring that they have the necessary skills
and knowledge to perform their tasks effectively and safely.
Stay up-to-date with relevant industry regulations and standards, ensuring that the facility's mechanical systems
meet all compliance requirements.
Responsible for ensuring that the facilities, layout and machinery used to produce new and existing materials and
goods run to their maximum efficiency and output
Contribute to the creation and implementation of best practice maintenance vision, strategy, policies, processes
and procedures to aid and improve operational performance
Statutory compliance of mechanical maintenance services
Contribute to new business initiatives and projects and review and communicate the impact on maintenance
activities
Planning cost optimization, energy conservations and productivity improvement schemes
Basic knowledge of maintenance practices of rotary equipment like pump, compressor, blower and static
equipment like heat exchanger, PHE, tanks, tower, vessel etc.
Input and hold responsibility for maintenance budgets
Coordinate & work closely with the internal and external peoples to achieve maintenance excellence

Qualification
B.E/B.Tech – Mechanical with experience of 10 - 12+ years in medium to large chemical/ chlor alkali industries.
Should have knowledge of ISO standards and procedures.
Operational knowledge of Computers including SAP.
Should have exposure of necessary statutory compliance.
