and send comments to Project  

Manager for approval

A) Identify activities to be performed based on  

PEP with their characteristics.  

B) Define / develop organization structure.  

C) Finalization resource plan.

D) Ensure establishment of Specific Quality  

Plan for each department

E) Ensure implementation of QMS  

requirements during all project execution  

phases.

4. Develop audit strategy, audit plan, and  

conduct audits & spot checks of Project

Quality affecting activities, for  

compliance to approved procedures.

5. Conduct external quality audits of  

vendors assigned by Project Director.

6. Interface with the Project supplier  

quality surveillance (SQS) group at the  

Supplier facilities

a) Develop a project-wide audit plan based on  

the Project Quality management System  

requirements defined in DEC contract, the  

project execution Plan, and Reliance  

specification, standard, drawing etc.

b) Monitor and appraise (audit) Quality  

management activity of the DECs, other  

service providers, fabrication facilities, and  

construction contractors.

c) Follow up and verify resolution of audit  

findings and corrective action implementation

d) Analyse audit data to identify trends and  

make recommendations about areas needing  

improvements. Evaluation of QPI

7. Ensure implementation of site QAP,  

ITP & Checklists, Technical spec. &  

codes etc.

8. Conduct Audit on all Contractors.

9. Publish audit report to project  

stakeholders.

 a) Availability of Formats, checklists, rework

registers to all contractors in the unit and is  

being filled and monitored on regular basis.

b) Highlighting any deviations  

observed/recorded and intimation to all  

concerned persons

10. Providing Guidance to Engineers for  

carrying out job

Training/Guidance to Reliance Quality  

Engineers and Contractors site QC Engineers.

Publish report weekly/Monthly to the  

Management on Quality metrices, major nonconformities, audit results & closure status,  

Quality Performance evaluation of the Project  

team, Contractor and service provider

Clear Knowledge about Project QA

1. Lead Auditor certification for QMS/EMS/IMS.

2. Conduct Quality related training / alignment sessions for project  

team personnel as required.

For Mechanical Engineer:

3. System of related job to be audited e.g. ITP, Quality Plan, PEP,  

Work Procedures, and Specifications etc.

4. Knowledge of codes and standards for welding Materials and  

Metallurgy including heat treatment

5. Different welding qualification processes and trouble shootings

problems of different types of welding and their effective  

solutions

6. Establishing various welding consumable consumption norms,  

reviewing structural fabrication drawings from the welding point  

of view Knowledge of codes and standards for NDT and PWHT

7. Different NDT/PWHT welder qualification processes and trouble  

shooting in applications able to interpret Fabrication codes,  

standards, and specification.

For Civil Engineers:
