1. Technical / Functional Knowledge

• High level of Commercial, engineering &
• Accounting capabilities
• Local Tax knowledge
• SAP Super User
• Implementation of P2P processes for Factory M&I and Capex Buying based on
  local limit

1. To direct, motivate and guide operational buyers towards meeting of their individual and hence the departments objectives
2. Network with the industry / other Nestle markets to gain an insight into the various spend categories which would help in formulating a sound purchasing strategies
3. New Initiatives implementation like :
   - NBS Project
   - Auto myGr
   - Easybuy
   - Introduction of Walmart & Amazon for sundry purchases
4. To ensure implementation of sound procurement processes to achieve the set objectives
5. Internal Control Custodian: Store items ageing & Benchmarking with factories for store items Duplicate invoices, Splitting PO cases, ensuring Nil GR/IR & Sound knowledge of GST law & conducting scrap surprise audits
6. Managing Fuels procurement for factory at best optimized rates (FO, Coal, HSD)
7. Scrap rates Negotiation at best market rates
8. Closely liase with Engineering to ensure business priorities and the department activities and priorities are closely aligned to each other
9. Drive forward visibility of spend, liase with Engineers to develop options, ensure execution of buying process. Manage operational issues related to SAP P2P process
10. Act as an extended arm of Purchasing to provide local intelligence, manage local relationships, drive projects with Engineers.
11. To contribute towards overall evolution of the Purchasing function in the direction which ensure long term alignment with business objectives
