Purpose of the Position (Job Summary)
To lead the central marketing and branding strategy across all key crops by driving product visibility, positioning, and pre-season & post-season campaign planning through innovative design, social media, and agronomy-based content. This role ensures alignment of central campaigns with regional execution and supports product lifecycle through effective communication, budgeting, and stakeholder engagement.
Key Individual Accountabilities
Campaign Strategy & Execution
Design and execute the central marketing calendar aligned with product life cycles and seasonal needs.
Plan and implement pre-season & post-season campaigns for new and existing products across all key crops.
Coordinate with regional teams for smooth execution and alignment of central campaigns.
Branding & Design
Lead branding initiatives including logo usage, packaging aesthetics, product literature, and trade marketing materials.
Supervise development of creative collaterals (brochures, posters, product videos, hoardings) with design agencies.
Ensure consistency in brand messaging across platforms and regions.
Digital & Social Media Management
Oversee content creation, scheduling, and performance tracking across all official social media handles.
Drive digital engagement campaigns and promote product-related awareness through social media.
Work with external partners to enhance digital footprint.
Agronomy-Based Content Development
Collaborate with Agronomy, R&D, and Product Development teams to generate accurate, crop- specific communication.
Translate technical data into farmer-friendly formats for promotions and awareness.
Budget Planning & Management
Prepare annual central marketing budget aligned with campaign objectives.
Allocate, track, and control marketing spends, ensuring cost efficiency and ROI.
Provide monthly budget utilization reports to senior management.
Product Visibility & Collateral Management
Ensure timely development and delivery of campaign kits, product display materials, and demo plots branding.

Team Development

Qualifications
M.Sc. (Agriculture) with specialization in Agronomy/Seed Science preferred.
8–10 years of experience in agri-input/seed industry marketing or branding roles.
