Equity Analyst

Job Summary

We are looking for a skilled Equity Research Analyst to support the investment team through in-depth equity research, valuation modelling, and idea generation. The role involves working closely with the Fund Manager, tracking stocks within the investment universe, and contributing to investment decision-making through bottom-up analysis.

Key Responsibilities

Prepare periodic reports, including daily and weekly market reports

Develop detailed Investment Idea reports

Track and monitor stocks within the investment universe

Identify investment opportunities using a bottom-up research approach

Assist the Fund Manager in research and analysis

Build and maintain DCF and other valuation models

Present investment ideas to the Advisory Team

Attend quarterly earnings concalls and investor meets

Stay updated on market trends, company developments, and sector insights

Required Qualifications & Skills

5 years of experience in equity research or investment analysis

Graduate / Post Graduate with relevant experience

(MBA Finance / CA will be an added advantage)

Strong experience in financial modelling and valuation

Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills

Strong numerical aptitude and comfort working with data Excellent report writing and presentation skills

Good verbal and written communication skills

Proficiency in MS Excel and financial analysis tool
